Simon and Garfunkel’s Photo Mishap

It was brought to my attention that Simon and Garfunkel’s Bridge over troubled water record cover had abit of a mistake on it. My Dad showed me the cover and asked me if i could see what is wrong with it.

ok so it just seems as if it’s abit of a weird composition to get old Art Garfunkel to stand directly behind Mr. Paul Simon but other than that i didnt really pick up on anything else. Until you simply make a crop in the right place.

Garfunkel with a massive Moustache thanks to Simon’s dreadful wig. A very bad composition mistake which has seemingly gone practically un-noticed for decades. I thought i would share this as it gave me a good laugh but i also thought it was really relevant when we are being told to really think about the composition of our images.

A bad compositional mistake often seen in landscape photography is color merge where leaves of the same color from two different trees merge. If the height or angle of camera is changed this can be avoided.
